6 Comments on Buckets Behind Bars

Here’s another bumpersticker for a commercial I’m doing for the radio show.  I’m working on a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial, and I’ll want a graphic for the SoundCloud posting when I get it done, so I decided to go ahead and do it now to get me in a chickeny mood.  This is  for a fictitious program “Buckets Behind Bars” that I envision might’ve happened for Avon Barksdale who apparently lives pretty well in prison where the guards bring him KFC...

“Spooky Sounds” – This was the best audio assignment EVER!  Perfect for upcoming Halloween.  I had my 7-year-olds listen as I kept making it spookier and scarier.  They totally loved helping and offering criticisms along the way.  This time I wanted to have background music, based on a suggestion from Jim Groom when I created a story sound file earlier. Here’s the result:

Sounds came from from the following folks:

Dark Ambient Music 3 – Xan...

It had to be done.

Fifty Shades of Wee-Bey

Design a book cover.  I had to go with parody, because I don’t take fluffy beach froth like this book too seriously.  On a deeper note, there might actually BE fifty different aspects to Wee-Bey’s character.  We see the fish hobbyist, the loyal Barksdale employee, capable street-wise hit man and “fixer”, and a father who wants more for his son, but we don’t get to see the prequel story...

This man is frequently seen nesting in his office, playing with science fiction action figures and arranging them in questionable poses. When he leaves his lair, he is difficult to track because he does not carry a smartphone.

If apprehended and taken into custody, it is recommended to restrain the individual due to his propensity for wild hand-gesturing...

1 Comment on The Kessel Run

The daily create was to make a map depicting a well-known story, and I went with the Star Wars universe from Episode IV: A New Hope.  This is known as “the first one” for folks that remember 1977, the year it was released. Using PowerPoint, I fooled around with the shapes menu and made circles for stops, and connecting lines for routes.  You’ll notice Alderaan is currently not in service, since the planet was blown up by Imperial forces using the Death Star...
