“All Me In The Scene” was a fun audio assignment where you do all the voices.  In this poem by the great nonsense writer Lewis Carroll, I was the narrator as well as the old man congratulating our hero on a job well done.  I attempted to add some drama, however, it’s not really my strong suit and not having an appropriate British accent leaves the whole thing a bit off, in my opinion.

“Spooky Sounds” – This was the best audio assignment EVER!  Perfect for upcoming Halloween.  I had my 7-year-olds listen as I kept making it spookier and scarier.  They totally loved helping and offering criticisms along the way.  This time I wanted to have background music, based on a suggestion from Jim Groom when I created a story sound file earlier. This is my rendition of the audio assignment “Remix A Song With Some Speech”.

I love old westerns, particularly the ones that Elmer Bernstein scored, so I knew I’d use one of my favorites which is the theme he wrote for “The Magnificent Seven”.  It’s a rousing, heroic piece so I needed an inspiring speech to pair with it.  I went with Winston Churchill’s “Their Finest Hour” speech which is strikingly similar to Shakespeare’s St. Crispin Day speech from Henry V...
