SiO2, or silicon dioxide is the major component in most glass, in case anyone was curious.
So, my vidya (yep, I’m a King of the Hill fan) of water and glass moving around for today’s Daily Create is here:
I took flattened glass pellets, put them into a glass vase and recorded it being filled up with water. The glass pellets move around a bit, shifting as the water fills in the interstitial space around them. I filmed it indoors and outdoors, but kept the outdoor one because the light reflections were more interesting.
